About BOB STP

This website is the home of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB), Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).

Our vision is to achieve the 'triple aim' set out in the Next Steps On The Five Year Forward View and close the health and well-being, care, quality and financial gaps across the BOB STP area.

Our priority areas are; preventing ill health, collaborating to improve efficiency and optimise capacity, enhancing cancer treatment and care, providing digital solutions for self-care, improving our workforce offer and developing a strategic investment programme to enhance the health and care environment.

Vision and proposals to further join up health and care approved

The application to become a Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care System (ICS) has been approved by NHS England/NHS Improvement. 

BOB Excellence Centre launched

The centre was launched this month to improve the quality of and access to, vocational training for support staff working in health and social care across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

 

£7.5m Funding Boost for Local Health and Care Records

£7.5 million of funding has been awarded to develop a STPs and Integrated Care Systems in the Thames Valley, Surrey, and Bedfordshire area,  to become a Local Health and Care Record Partnership

BOB STP at a glance

In our area the STP covers Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West; otherwise referred to as BOB. 

The BOB STP covers a population of 1.8 million, three Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), six NHS Trusts and 14 local authorities and 175 GP surgeries.
